Our East Red Devils hit the road this week for a matchup against the always tough Sheboygan North Golden Raiders. Sheboygan North is 2-1 this season and come into this one on a two-game winning streak after a 38-12 victory over their crosstown rivals Sheboygan South last week.
Fans of both teams will remember last season when Sheboygan North came to City Stadium with a 5-1 record and East defeated them 14-7 in a Homecoming upset. Here’s everything you need to know to watch the Red Devils this Friday night:
Date: Friday, September 11
Location: Sheboygan North High School (Click here for directions). There isn’t a big parking lot at North High School. It’s mostly street parking in the surrounding neighborhood. The main entrance to the football field at North High School is located on N 13th St. That takes you to the west side of the stadium where the Sheboygan fans sit. Concessions and restrooms are also located on the west side of the field. There is also a smaller entrance on the east side of the stadium where the visiting fans sit near the corner of N 12th St. and School Ave. There’s street parking over there on N 12th and N 11th Street. I recommend parking there and making the short walk to the gate on the visitors’ side. There is also a parking lot on N 10th St. but it’s a slightly longer walk to get to the field.
Kickoff: 7:00 PM
Admission: Cash at the gate. $5 for adults. $3 for high school students. $1 for children. People age 62 and older are free. You can also purchase tickets online via GoFan by clicking here. GoFan charges an extra $1 per ticket.
