We’re excited to kick off the season with a preseason scrimmage in Hortonville! This is a great opportunity for our varsity and JV players to compete against three other schools, sharpen their skills, and prepare for the upcoming season.
Date: Friday, August 15
Scrimmage Begins: 4:00 PM. Players should arrive at East High at 12:30.
Location: Hortonville High School – Akin Field (click for Google Map). See campus map below.
Opponents: Hortonville, Freedom, and Ashwaubenon

Scrimmage Format: Fields will be split in half. During each scrimmage session the team listed first will have their varsity offense run 10 plays against the varsity defense of the team that is listed second. After 10 plays the teams will flip varsity offense and varsity defense.
After those 20 plays, the team that is listed first will return to offense with their JV and run plays against the JV defense of the team that is listed second. After those 10 plays, the teams will flip offense and defense.
After the combined 40 plays of offense and defense in Session 1, the teams move to Sessions 2 and 3 and repeat this format.
